Good crew. Clear direction.
Keep everyone connected to the same campaign. Give your team a plan, follow the ground they cover, and make the next shift easier to coordinate.

Divide the area. Keep the operation together.
Route cutting replaces “you take that side” with a partition everyone can see. Pick a walker count and the campaign area splits into that many routes, each with a suggested walking line.
Sample area, crew and door total. Guide lines are drawn further apart here than the app’s default of 70 m between passes.
| Route | Walker | Share of area | Est. doors |
|---|---|---|---|
| Route A | Jordan | 25% | 193 |
| Route B | Avery | 25% | 186 |
| Route C | Sam | 25% | 458 |
| Route D | Riley | 25% | 403 |
Balanced by land area, so every route covers a similar amount of ground. Each crew member gets one route, in cut order.
- Walker count
- 1 to 12, defaults to crew size
- Method
- Halve along the longer side, repeat
- Overlap between routes
- None, the pieces tile the area
- Same area, same count
- Always the same cut
- Walking guide
- Back-and-forth sweep, 70 m apart
- Door figures
- Shown only where dwelling data exists
One drop, from invite to review.
Crew coordination is more than positions on a map. The team needs an assignment, the manager needs context, and the campaign needs a consistent record. This is the order it happens in.
Before the drop
Set up once per campaign
Invite the crew into the organization
Create an invite and share its code. Membership belongs to the organization, so inviting someone does not have to be repeated for every drop.
- Invite code
- 12 characters
- Joins as
- Crew by default
- Seat limit
- Checked when the code is accepted
Bind the campaign to real ground
Pick the campaign’s neighborhoods as its target area. A campaign with no area cannot be cut into routes.
- Area source
- Scouted neighborhoods
- Carries
- Campaign QR code, created with the campaign
Cut the area into routes and save
Preview the cut, then save it. Saving assigns the routes and sends each walking guide to the live map, where a walker sees their own route.
- Routes
- 1 to 12
- Assignment
- One route per member, in cut order
- Guide
- A starting point, not the shortest possible walk
On the street
While shifts are running
Each walker starts a shift
The field workflow centres on starting, pausing and ending shifts. The phone records the walk as a GPS trail, including from a pocket where background location is allowed.
- Position fix
- About every 5 m walked
- Needs
- The mobile app and location permission
Follow the live team map
Everyone on shift appears on one map. Tap a teammate to open their session card for the current shift.
- Session card
- Distance, doors, scans
- Goes quiet after
- 30 minutes with no fix
- Returns
- On the next fix
Catch two people on the same ground
An overlap alert appears when two walkers are working the same streets, so you can redirect one before effort is wasted. A brief crossing is ignored.
- Counts as same ground
- Within 40 m
- Confirmed by
- Half of the last 12 trail points
- Order
- Closest pair first
Send a destination with context
Dispatch sends a crew member a target point, a label and a note. Acknowledgment separates an instruction that was sent from one that was received.
- Delivery
- A banner in the app, in real time
- Status
- Sent, then acknowledged
After the shift
Review and plan the next one
Review more than hours worked
Look at the shift trail and coverage, then follow campaign scans and supported conversions. Activity and attributed results answer different questions, and keeping both gives a manager a more useful review.
- Crew leaderboard
- Doors, scans, distance
- Campaign results
- Doors to scans to bookings to revenue
Shifts that were never ended get closed
If the app is closed mid-shift, the shift does not stay open forever. It is ended at the walker’s last real position fix, so duration and pace stay honest.
- Treated as abandoned
- After 12 hours
- End time
- The last recorded fix
Four roles, and what each one can do.
Members belong to the organization, with roles for managing or doing the work. Campaigns and territories then organize individual assignments. Every organization always keeps at least one owner.
| Permission | OwnerFull control, including the plan | AdminRuns the business day to day | CrewWalks the routes | ViewerRead-only, such as a client |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| See the organization’s campaigns and dispatches | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Create and edit territories, coverage areas and QR codes | Yes | Yes | No | No |
| Change a member’s role | Any role | Not the owner role | No | No |
| Remove a member | Anyone else | Crew and viewers | No | No |
| Manage the organization’s plan | Yes | No | No | No |
| Transfer ownership | Yes | No | No | No |
| Leave the organization | Not as the last owner | Yes | Yes | Yes |
Handing over the business is one step. The current owner promotes another member to owner and steps down to admin. An admin cannot make themselves an owner.
What a dispatch carries.
A dispatch is a live “go here” sent to one teammate while you watch the map. Everyone in the organization can see dispatches in flight, and only the recipient can acknowledge one.
| Field | Holds | Needed |
|---|---|---|
| To | One member of your organization | Required |
| Target | A point on the map | Required |
| Label | 1 to 120 characters | Required |
| Note | Up to 500 characters | Optional |
| Campaign | The campaign it relates to | Optional |
| Status | Sent, then acknowledged by the recipient | Set by the app |

A little more detail.
Live location depends on phone permissions and signal. Planned routes are a starting point for the walk.
Does everyone need the app?
Field tracking takes place through the mobile app. Each crew member needs access to your organization and the device permissions needed for their shift.
Is tracking always on?
The field workflow centers on starting, pausing, and ending shifts. Background location support depends on the platform, permissions, and device settings.
Can I use this on my own?
Yes. The same campaign and coverage workflow can be used by an owner walking a route. Add a crew as your operation grows.
Does the walking guide give the shortest route?
No. The guide is a back-and-forth sweep of the route’s shape, which makes it a sensible starting point. It does not follow the street network or optimize the order of stops.
Does the live map prove flyers were delivered?
No. GPS shows where a phone travelled. It does not prove a flyer reached a door, and door counts are estimates.
Give every walker a street and a plan.
Run your crew on one shared map, from the first territory to the last door.
